This self-paced study program has been designed to fulfill the Transport Canada requirements of groundschool training for the issue of a Canadian Private Pilot License (PPL). The course allows you to study at your own pace, and without the restriction of having to attend pre-arranged classroom instruction.
This course also serves as an excellent supplement to traditional classroom learning, or as a refresher course for those pilots already licensed to fly.

Upon completion of each subject, a test is available to evaluate your understanding of the material and to determine if you are adequately prepared to write your Transport Canada written examination.

Very clear and concise course with great customer service

The course is very concise, well structured and offers lot's of graphics to help understand the concepts discussed. Also the many sample calculations provided and the detailed "walk-through", makes it easy to comprehend and apply.
I also found the customer service Aerotech is providing along with this course excellent. After each subject area (Aeronautical General Knowledge, Air Law, Meteorology, Navigation) there is a sample exam, with questions that are of relevance to the official TC exam. Aerotech will take time and answer all questions that come up during these exams, which helped me to improve on areas I still needed to work on.
Following the CD course, I passed the written test without a problem and highly recommend it to anyone aiming at getting a private license.
Fun, comfortable and very interesting

I just wrote my TC exam and passed with decent marks. The Aerotech course made it so easy and fun to do my ground school. Sitting in the comfortable setting of my house, I was able to learn all of the things I was so interested in but had little knowledge about. things that seemed complicated were made so simple. And the online instructor, just an email away, helped alot when I was stuck on something.
